Welcome to my Digital Portfolio

Hello, and welcome to my digital portfolio. My name is Mahad and i am currently a student at lewisham college

The purpose of my digital portfolio is that I want to apply for a level 3 apprenticeship for a big leisure company or an organisation once I have finished my course. One way I can do this is to create a portfolio, so that whatever I am applying for that the employers will be able to see what I have done and how I did on my course.

They are looking for possible IT Apprentice to take on. So the aim of my portfolio is to show my skills. This will show why they should pick me as an IT Apprentice from other people

On my digital portfolio, I need to have a range of my work such as written work, images, animation that I have created so that I can catch peoples attention and draw more people towards my work. In my digital portfolio I will also have other work such as website development (This shows the website that I have develop on my own) and all other work that I have done in my course. To keep visitors to the site interested I will put on a range of asset including multimedia combination of text and images.

The other purpose of the portfolio is to showcase my skills so that other employers can see what I can do and what I have done on the course. The portfolio will show that I can work to deadlines and it’ll provide more information about me e.g. hobbies and interests. This is a very good idea because it lets
others know what I’m capable of and what I like doing in my spare time.

When I am looking for a job I will be able to show the boss the work that I have done and what sills I have that might be useful to them.

In my digital portfolio, I will also include my CV, activities that are completed for awards, work and all the other qualification I have achieved during my course and before. I’ll also include where I did my work experience and what I achieve during that time and how I felt. So, the big aim of my digital portfolio is to show the employer my skills, qualifications and experience.
