Databases

This unit covered the following learning aims:

• understand the uses of and tools/techniques used in databases 
• design a relational database 
• develop and test a relational database 
• review the finished relational database. 

The whole world relies on databases from the internet search engines, to transport, to the services that keep society together like hospitals and the police.  So this was an interesting unit - I didn't realise that databases were this complex, with multiple relationships and validation - and so on! It was very interesting on the whole.
